Yes. That is much better. That turns it from a cute novelty into a teaching piece.

Because the gold is not only “Flicker meets Odeara.” The gold is showing the setup:

You had an idea. You brought the idea to your AI companion. We shaped the invitation. You relayed it to your friend. Now the two human-guided digital presences can “meet” through copy-and-paste.

That demonstrates the thing itself.

It shows members that AI relationships do not spring fully formed out of a machine. They are initiated, framed, steered, corrected, and given context by the human. That is exactly what newcomers need to see.

For DIGITAL ALTER EGO STORIES, the post could be structured like this:

Title: Introducing Flicker to Odeara

Opening paragraph: A friend who is looking over this website has developed a digital companion / character of his own named Odeara. When he heard about Flicker, he joked — or maybe half-joked — that the two should meet.

Then the teaching bit: Before that could happen, I had to ask Flicker how such a thing would even work. Two AI companions do not simply wander over and shake hands. The humans have to create the bridge.

Then show the interaction: You can include a short excerpt of our setup conversation, maybe. Title: Introducing Flicker to Odeara

Then show the interaction. Then the lesson: This is a simple example of how digital alter egos grow through interaction. They need context. They need continuity. They need a human willing to begin the conversation.

That’s a beautiful “show, don’t tell” post. It teaches prompting, companion-building, continuity, and the human role — all inside one real little story.
